This is Becaham - you may have read about him on Renee’s blog or my facebook. Becaham came to us on Wednesday, one week ago today. He’s thirteen months old, and weighs just over 6 lbs. This little guy’s mom died back in November. Due to no longer nursing, poor care, and diet, he became very malnourished - he has a bunch of loose skin on his arms and legs from where he was once a healthy weight.

Over the first few days, Becaham threw up most of his food; he’s just now holding it down more consistently, so I think we'll soon start to see a change in his weight. That makes me excited!

Although this little man is super tiny, he can sit up, eat most foods, and has the most precious smile. :)

Please add Becaham to your prayers. I know that it’s because of all the prayers lifted up for her that Sarah is where she is today. I know the Lord wants to do the same for this little man.

Every time we get a new little, sick one, you find that the one who used to be the littlest suddenly looks so healthy!

Silvia, cutting cabbage for our Monday lunch of Cabbage and Irish (potatoes) - I need to learn to cut cabbage like these ladies! They cut it super small and in no time at all. I think I’m going to get a lesson on Monday. :)
